The Game of Patience and Endurance: The LA Clippers Have Proved It
The need of basketball playing is not only demands teamwork and speed but also it needs considerable endurance and patience. The Los Angeles Clippers have shown both in their last two games. On Wednesday, coming off of an unexpected lost to the Sacramento Kings 116-101, the Clippers looked to rebound. They were in a better stride on Thursday in their matchup against the young Philadelphia 76ers. In the beginning, their defensive mood was not up to the mark and they found themselves trapped in the eight-point hole; but that was only in the beginning. Chris Paul, the leader of the team, finished with 19 points and Caron Butler also provided support to Chris Paul by scoring 14 points. On Saturday, the Clippers took on the Brooklyn Nets. Chris Paul was big again, scoring a double double 29points, 11 assists as the Clippers beat the Nets 101-95. The Clippers have proved their endurance, patience and team work in a complete new way. They look to stay healthy and get into rhythm as they continue to get stronger for the post season.
