Things heat up during drills for the Philadelphia Eagles’ Cary Williams and Riley Cooper.
The Eagles’ wide receiver, Riley Cooper, continues to be in the news for all the wrong reasons. Today video circulated showing Cooper and Eagles’ CB Cary Williams getting into an alternation during practice.
We all recall the bad press Riley Cooper received this summer when this video spread all over the news circuit showing him drunken, looking for a fight and using derogatory language. He later apologized and went through counseling for his behavior.
The question on many people’s mind is whether Williams’ reaction was built up anger for Cooper’s recent tantrum at the Kenny Chesney concert this summer and his use of the N-word.
If you followed the whole ordeal you should recall some players were quoted as saying that they will move on from the situation, they will never forget.
Riley Cooper is a distraction for the Eagles, one that is not needed. Especially for a team that had a poor season and didn’t make it to the post season last year.
Cooper has opened a can of worms but can the Eagles use that same aggression and win more games this season? That is yet to be determined.
Will the Eagles part ways with Cooper during the season, so they can get back to football? That is yet to be determined…
