The Chicago Bull’s New Found Confidence

The Chicago Bull’s New Found Confidence

Mar 28, 2013

The short-handed Chicago Bulls are starting to gain momentum as the post-season starts to near. Chicago just came off a victory against the streaking Miami Heat, doing what no other team in the league could (albeit they had a second chance and before the Spurs had a chance,) breaking the 27 game win streak. With a win against the best team in the league, the Bulls should be on a new level of self-esteem, heading into the last month of the regular season and play-offs as the notorious Heat stoppers. If they take out the Heat again at their rematch on April, 14th (doubting it) they’re going to be on fire when the play-offs arrive. Chicago only faces three play-off teams in their last games (Brooklyn, New York and Miami) and then plays Orlando, Detroit, Toronto and Dallas for the nine other games that can be easy wins for the Bulls.

There’s no real way to stop Chicago from winning nine out of twelve games because why should lottery teams even try when they should be going after the #1 pick in Ben McLemore or Nerlens Noel by losing. It makes no sense and wins won’t achieve anything for Orlando, Washington or Detroit except lower lottery odds. The Chicago Bulls are ready to fiend off of those easy games and they’ll definitely try hard in the games against playoff caliber teams to show the readiness they harness.

Chicago is set to make a deep run within April and if they continue their current three game win streak, the Bulls could make it to the 4th spot taking on Atlanta or Indiana.  Chicago may be a force in the play-offs with a very high self-esteem and a team with confidence is a team that’s dangerous.
