This weekend should have some really great football games. We get to see the top four teams all go head-to-head for a chance at the Super Bowl. The best part about this is that although these are the top four teams by current playoff standings, you can make an argument that these are the top four teams in the NFL this season. What has me excited though, is the individual quarterback match ups.
On the AFC side we get a battle of the legends. Tom Brady and the Patriots vs Peyton Manning and the Broncos.
On the NFC side we get a battle of the future. Russell Wilson and the Seahawks vs Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers.
Either way these match ups go, were going to have a old vs young battle. Man the Super Bowl is gonna be epic.
We got the old men, Brady and Manning; the classic QBs. You know the guy who rarely make the run, but instead hit their strong receivers for a living. Old school football.
Then on the other side we got Wilson and Kaepernick; the new wave of QB’s. Wilson to a lesser extent, but the guys who have no problem running the football. Similar to the scoring point guard epidemic that’s hit the NBA, these quarterback will pick up yards themselves if they have too and have no problem going in for the touchdown. Pretty much my type of quarterback.
This weekend should fun when it comes to watching NFL football. We get to see the best of the best going at it in games that mean a lot.
