Top-ranked Serena Williams has yet to be defeated. This time her tour stopped in Rome for the Italian Open. In the finals match, Williams faced off against third-ranked Victoria Azarenka. Williams proved a couple things: 1) that she keeps getting better, 2) that she is one heck of a tennis player. Williams dominated the match, winning in straight sets 6-1, 6-3 to earn her 51st career title and fourth consecutive title this year (Fed Cup, Family Circle Cup, Madrid Open, now Italian Open).
Her next stop is the French Open, where she looks to continue her streak on the Clay. The French Open begins next Sunday, May 26.
