This year’s edition of NBA 2k is going to be huge. Every year now the guys over at 2kSports are coming up with something crazy to keep us all interested. They already revealed the addition of euro-league teams, which I have to add is crazy man.
Now it seems like we might have some control of the games soundtrack. Well, kind of, we don’t get control but the guy on the cover does. LeBron James is going to be picking out the soundtrack for the game, which should be pretty cool. On his instagram he said he needs help picking out the songs, so now’s the chance we’ve all been waiting for.
This should be a good move away from last year’s soundtrack which was had picked by Jay-z and featured a lot of songs by guess who: Jay-Z. The soundtrack was dope but after a while you get tired of hearing from the same artist every time you go to play the game (which is a lot for most of us). I personally think he took it a little too far with his “Pump It Up Freestyle” but picked the perfect jam with “Stillness Is The Move” by the Dirty Projectors.
Either way I know I’m still buying this game alongside GTA 5 (the gameplay trailer is sick). LeBron if you’re listening give me some Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, A$AP Rocky, Wiz Khalifa & 2 Chainz. Please and Thank You.
