What a Garbage Super Bowl

Did you see the game last night? Well of course you did, everybody in America watched that trash. This is supposed to be one of the biggest events of the year. People threw parties for the Super Bowl and of course I hit up a few, only for everyone in the parties to be dissapointed.

I’m really mad the Broncos played like they did, it was just pathetic. From the first play where they snapped it over Mannings head, this game became dreadful for Bronco fans. They had the  number one offense but went up against the number one defense. The old saying “defense wins championships” proved to be so right last night. The Seahawks defense was amazing. As much as Peyton Manning threw the football, the Broncos couldn’t get anything going and could barely even get a first down. Then those two interceptions he threw were pretty bad.

Russell Wilson did ok but I’m glad they didn’t just give him MVP by default because he was the quarterback. Malcolm Smith deserved that award with the way he anchored the defense.  The Seahawks blew out the Broncos so bad man it just became bad television.

Enough about the game though because that is not even the most important aspect of the game. Those commercials were pure garbage. I don’t think I laughed much and nothing really sparked my interest. The one music commercial with the music being different colors in the house was pretty dope. I thought the Tim Tebow one was pretty funny but besides that the only other one I could remember was some very random one with Terry Crews. Either thing else was just trash. I will say that Bruno Mars did his thing, that was one of the better performances I’ve seen on TV.

Overall that Super Bowl was trash, the next one better be way better.

Was good though, it's me Everick Davis Jr. Born and raised in Portsmouth Virginia, I'm currently a senior at the University of North Carolina Greensboro. I watch every sport (not so much golf) but I am huge on the NBA. My favorite players right now are J.R. Smith, Russell Westbrook & Nick Young. Drinking beer and watching sports is my favorite past time and I do it year round! I used to play basketball on the regular until everyone else kept growing and I still stood at 5'6. So that's when I channeled my efforts into becoming the next Stephen A Smith or anything close to that. I currently write for "The Carolinian" newspaper in Greensboro, NC and intern for http://theurbantwist.com/ Random Fact about me, I love anime, my favorite one is One Piece! Second random fact, I got beatz! check me out http://www.reverbnation.com/ielabs
