WNBA Finals: Minnesota Lynx or Atlanta Dream?

WNBA Finals: Minnesota Lynx or Atlanta Dream?

Sep 30, 2013

After a hard fought long season, the 2013 WNBA season is coming to a end. Now there’s only one thing left to settle and that is who goes home with the a ring, the Minnesota Lynx or the Atlanta Dream. This will be a rematch of the 2011 WNBA Finals where the Lynx got the win. This will be set another season where the Lynx make it to the Finals as they’ve been pretty much a dynasty for the last few years. Both teams swept their respective Conference Finals match ups to advance to what’s sure to be a Finals match up for the ages.

Now that the WNBA Finals match up is set, who you taking?

For the Dream, making it back to the Finals is very impressive even after making the Finals 3 out of the last 4 years. With the up and down type season they had, it was very shocking to see them defeat the defending champs the way they did. The Dream started the season off magical winning 10 out of 11 of the first games, but by the end they didn’t even look like they would make the playoffs. Some how Angel McCoughtry and the girls pulled out the victory even with the injuries they dealt with but will their luck run out?

Now the Lynx are a different story. They have been absolute beast for the last few years. The combination of Maya Moore, Seimone Augustus and the rest of the team has been very strong. The Lynx made the very strong Phoenix Mercury look like they needed a lot of work to do. Now the Lynx are facing a Dream team that they actually swept in the Finals in 2011. The Lynx have home court advantage also as they posted a beast 26 and 8 record this season.

I don’t know about you but I cant go against the Lynx this time around. Sorry Dream fans but the Minnesota Lynx will be the 2013 WNBA Champs.

Was good though, it's me Everick Davis Jr. Born and raised in Portsmouth Virginia, I'm currently a senior at the University of North Carolina Greensboro. I watch every sport (not so much golf) but I am huge on the NBA. My favorite players right now are J.R. Smith, Russell Westbrook & Nick Young. Drinking beer and watching sports is my favorite past time and I do it year round! I used to play basketball on the regular until everyone else kept growing and I still stood at 5'6. So that's when I channeled my efforts into becoming the next Stephen A Smith or anything close to that. I currently write for "The Carolinian" newspaper in Greensboro, NC and intern for http://theurbantwist.com/ Random Fact about me, I love anime, my favorite one is One Piece! Second random fact, I got beatz! check me out http://www.reverbnation.com/ielabs
